130-Day Returns on Unopened Items
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return a factory-sealed, unopened vacuum for a full refund. To qualify, the item must be:
- In its original, unopened factory packaging
- With all tags, manuals, and accessories sealed inside
- Free of any signs of use or installation
2Manufacturer Defects & Warranty Help
We don't open or test sealed units before they ship — that's part of guaranteeing they're brand-new. So in the rare case you open your vacuum and find a manufacturer defect or out-of-the-box issue, here's what to do:
- Call us right away at (860) 678-0011 or use our contact form.
- We'll act as your liaison with the manufacturer to file a warranty claim, arrange service, or secure a replacement under the manufacturer's terms.
- Miele and SEBO warranties are fully honored through us as an authorized dealer for both brands. For VacuMaid central vacuum systems, we work directly with the manufacturer's standard warranty channels on your behalf.
3Return Shipping & Insurance
For eligible returns:
- Buyer pays return shipping. You're responsible for shipping costs back to our store at 12 W Main St, Avon, CT 06001.
- No restocking fee on eligible returns that meet the unopened criteria.
- Use a trackable, insured service. We strongly recommend tracking and full-value insurance — we can't accept responsibility for items lost, damaged, or misrouted in transit.
- Pack carefully. Place the factory-sealed box inside an outer shipping carton to protect the original packaging.
4Starting a Return — Step by Step
Contact us first
Call or text (860) 678-0011, or use our contact form. Returns shipped without prior authorization can't be accepted.
Get authorization
Once we verify your order details and confirm the item meets the unopened criteria, we'll issue a return authorization with shipping instructions.
Ship the item
Send the unopened vacuum, in protective outer packaging, to:

Refund processing
Once we receive and inspect the item, your refund will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Please allow 1–2 billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer.
5Bought It In-Store or Picked It Up Locally?
If you purchased your vacuum in our shop or picked it up locally, you're welcome to bring eligible returns directly to us at 12 W Main Street during business hours — no shipping required.

6Order Cancellation & Shipping Delays
Orders may be cancelled for a full refund any time before the order has been shipped. Once an order has shipped, it must be returned in accordance with this policy.
If we are unable to ship your order within the timeline stated in our Shipping Policy, we will notify you by email and offer you the choice to either consent to a revised ship date or cancel your order for a full refund, in accordance with the FTC Mail Order Rule (16 CFR Part 435).
