1Who We Are

Avon Vacuums LLC is a family-owned business operating since 1972 from Avon, Connecticut. We sell vacuum cleaners, parts, accessories, and central vacuum systems both online and from our retail showroom. We're authorized dealers for Miele and SEBO, and we sell, service, and install VacuMaid central vacuum systems.

2Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your state) to place an order on our Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3Account Registration

You can shop without creating an account, but creating one makes order tracking and re-ordering easier. If you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your password confidential
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized account activity
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

4Products, Pricing & Availability

We make every effort to display product information, photos, and pricing accurately, but we do not guarantee that all information is error-free. Colors and finishes may vary slightly from what appears on your screen.

We reserve the right to:

• Limit quantities of any product
• Discontinue products at any time
• Correct pricing or description errors and cancel orders affected by them, with a full refund
• Refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason

All prices are in U.S. dollars and do not include applicable taxes or shipping unless stated otherwise.

5Orders & Payment

By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. All orders are subject to acceptance, and we may decline or cancel any order at our discretion. Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment processors; we do not store full credit card numbers.

Once we accept your order, we'll send a confirmation email. Acceptance does not occur until you receive that confirmation.

6Shipping & Delivery

Shipping terms, timelines, and costs are described in our Shipping Policy. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, weather, or other factors outside our control.

7Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy. Briefly: 30-day window for unopened, factory-sealed items. We assist with manufacturer warranty claims for opened items.

8Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, photos, graphics, logos, and the Avon Vacuums name — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

Brand names and product images of Miele, SEBO, VacuMaid, and other manufacturers are the property of their respective owners and are used here for identification purposes.

9Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site to:

• Violate any law or regulation
• Infringe on anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights
• Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data without permission
• Engage in fraudulent activity or misrepresent your identity

10Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and all content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Product warranties (where they exist) are provided by the manufacturer, not by Avon Vacuums.

11Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Avon Vacuums and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or our products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim.

12Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Avon Vacuums LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

13Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hartford County, Connecticut, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

14Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be posted on the Site and, where appropriate, communicated by email. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.

15Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
