Description

This kit is built around one tool, a 12-inch SEBO ET-1 power nozzle, joined to a dual-voltage switched hose of 30 or 35 feet. Around it sit the tools a nozzle can't replace: a floor brush for bare surfaces, a dusting brush, an upholstery tool and a crevice tool, plus a hose hanger, a wand holder and a caddy bag. Count the two telescopic wands (one of them electric, to feed the nozzle) and you have eleven pieces.

Pigtail or direct-connect?

Pigtail hoses get suction from the wall inlet, while a short cord plugs into a nearby electrical outlet to run the nozzle. Look at where that outlet sits relative to your inlet. Direct-connect hoses take power through a matching powered wall inlet, so a suction-only inlet can't run this version.

Choosing a length

Measure from your inlet to the farthest spot you clean, then pick the hose that gets there. A hose that is too short will pull on every doorway; one that is longer than needed is simply more to hang up afterward.

Not in the box

The kit assumes you already have an installed central-vacuum power unit and a compatible inlet. It includes no power unit, wall piping or new inlets. If you are still choosing a unit, browse our central-vacuum power units.

Using it day to day

Fit the matching wand and tool before the system is switched on. Keep the hose and tool openings clear, remove wound hair from the nozzle brush as its manual directs, and hang the hose in broad loops between uses. For hard floors, use the floor brush wherever your floor maker's instructions call for a non-powered tool. Not sure what you have now? Routine care can help extend a vacuum’s useful life. Replace bags before they're full, change filters according to the manufacturer schedule, and check the brushroll for tangled hair and debris monthly. We offer in-house service and repair for all vacuum brands. No appointment or call needed: just bring it in during open hours.
