A cracked flap lets the cyclone separator sit uncovered. Part 11969530 is that flap: Miele says it is part of the cyclone separator and covers it. You can replace it without buying a whole container.

Worn or loose?
If the flap no longer sits flush when the container is closed, the hinge or retaining tabs are the likely cause. Compare against a flap in good condition if you can.
