Duoflex fine-dust filter, supplied without a lid
Miele HX-FDF 20, material number 12518910, replaces the pleated fine-dust filter in Duoflex cordless stick vacuums. The one catch: it arrives without a lid.
Keep your old lid
Miele's data sheet says to use the lid from the filter you are replacing. Set the lid aside when you take the old filter out, because the new one needs it.

How long does it last?
Miele says to change the filter every three years to maintain performance. Write the fitting date on the lid or your calendar.
Is there a cleaning feature?
Miele mentions pre-cleaning through the ComfortClean function. For anything beyond that, go by your model manual before washing the cartridge.
What else should I check?
Leave other filters as the Duoflex requires, and quote reference 12518910 plus your vacuum model when reordering.
Putting it in
Remove the old filter with its lid attached, separate the lid, press the lid onto the new cartridge and fit it back into the vacuum. Keep the cartridge in its correct orientation, as your Duoflex manual shows. If the lid is cracked, call us before ordering so we can see what else is worn.
