How the three parts work together
The bag collects the dirt. The foam pre-motor filter stops coarse debris reaching the motor, and Kirby says it can be rinsed and dried for at least 24 hours or swapped for a new one. The system filter, downstream of the motor, is the yearly replacement. Buying them in a kit means the yearly service is ready when the indicator calls for it.

For the Signature Series V530 upright. Kirby lists no other machine for this kit. Part number S10005.
How long do nine bags last?
Kirby does not publish an interval. It depends on the rooms, the pets and how often you vacuum, and the V530's bag-full light tells you when each bag needs changing.
Is there anything else in the box?
No. It is supplies only: bags and filters. The pre-motor filters are the washable part; the bags and the system filter are replaced, not cleaned. Call (860) 678-0011 if you want help with the V530.
