Why the E3 gets its own reference
SEBO lists separate dual-control hose references for different AIRBELT canisters, and this one is listed for the E3 Premium only. On the E3 the handle carries a slider switch for suction, from maximum power to minimal suction for delicate tasks, and an on/off switch for the power head's brush roller when you want straight suction on fine rugs, per SEBO.

What it won't do
It won't convert a straight-suction canister to electric, and the E1 and E2, whose suction knobs sit on the canister body, aren't served by it. The dual controls have to match the original powered-hose arrangement.
