The genuine SEBO 5290GE is the soft-bristle version of the brush roller set for the 15-inch SEBO AUTOMATIC X8 upright. SEBO also lists it for the retired AUTOMATIC X5 and X2. Choose it when you want gentler bristles for delicate rugs.
What's in the set?
- Included: one 5290GE soft-bristle brush roller set. In SEBO's own product photo, the set is one full-width brush roller and one short edge brush roller, both with green soft bristles.

Will it fit my machine?
SEBO lists 5290GE for the AUTOMATIC X8, X5 and X2. Of those, only the X8 is still current; SEBO shows the X5 and X2 as retired. SEBO describes the X8 as 15 inches wide, with a 14.5-inch cleaning path and two-sided edge cleaning.
How is it different from the standard set?
It is the soft-bristle version of the standard 5290AM set. If you want the regular bristles, ask for the 5290AM. The 12-inch X7 and X4 use a different roller; see the soft-bristle 12-inch 5010GE.
Is it safe for my rug?
Soft bristles don't guarantee suitability for every delicate rug. Read the rug maker's vacuuming and cleaning instructions first. When agitation isn't permitted, use straight suction instead of a brush.
