At 11.5 inches, the SFD 10 reaches farther than a stock crevice tool. Use it where a standard nozzle stops short: deep recesses and narrow gaps.
Where the extra length helps
Seams, the gap between cushions and recesses you can reach without taking anything apart. It also suits the accessible filter area of a tumble dryer, where lint collects.
It collects loose debris and nothing more. Do not force the tip into a gap, and do not use it to take apart a dryer or any other appliance.
Fit
It fits Miele canister-vacuum handles. It is not for Miele cordless stick vacuums.

How do I confirm this is the right nozzle?
Match material number 11607350. If the old number has worn off, send the vacuum model and a photo of the part and its connection.
A few practical uses
Many people reach for a long nozzle along baseboard seams, between a stove and the counter, and beneath the lip of a couch. Work slowly and let the airflow do the lifting. If something is stuck, loosen it with a soft tool first rather than prying with the nozzle.
