Why it suits fabric
Width does the first job, since fewer passes cover a cushion. The second job belongs to TPE thread lifters, which help collect hair and fibers. Miele calls the design self-cleaning, with no fibers or hairs left on the brush, though it is still sensible to clear collected hair from the lifters now and then.

It fits directly onto the handles of Miele canister vacuum cleaners.
