The HX-LA (material number 11384710) is the Triflex lithium-ion battery. Miele notes it is powered by Varta and built from seven high-performance cells.
Replacement or spare
Either. Replace a tired battery, or keep a charged one in a drawer so a long job does not stop halfway. Miele says it increases the running time of the Triflex; actual time depends on the model, power setting and attachment.
Fit
For Triflex HX1, HX1 Facelift and HX2 cordless stick vacuums. Replacing the battery is quick and easy, according to Miele.
What is included
The battery alone. To charge a spare outside the vacuum you need the HX-LS charger cradle.
Not a Duoflex battery
Duoflex vacuums use the HX-LA 20 or HX-LA 21, which are different parts.

Looking after batteries
