Duoflex batteries come in two versions, and the HX-LA 20 (material number 12519010) is the one for the Duoflex Basic in Nordic Blue, Terra Red and Sunset Yellow.
HX-LA 20 or HX-LA 21?

- HX-LA 21: Duoflex Extra, Cat & Dog, AllFloor and Total Care.
Color is not the test. Read the label on the battery in your vacuum and match both HX-LA 20 and 12519010.

Before replacing the battery
Make sure the vacuum is switched off and unplugged from its charger, and follow the replacement steps in your manual. Charge the new battery with the charging equipment specified for your Duoflex, and keep it away from heat while it sits on the charger.
Replacing a battery is a normal wear repair, not a sign the rest of the vacuum has failed.
Is it interchangeable with the HX-LA 21?
Not for every Duoflex. Miele lists each battery for specific models, so use the list above and the label on your pack rather than guessing from the vacuum's color.
