One VacuMaid HPB-2H bag, for the moment a unit needs a replacement right now. It is the same five-layer, seven-gallon HEPA-style bag as the three-pack, sold singly.
Does your unit specify HPB-2H?
If it is an SR52, SR52H, SR760 or SR800, any VacuMaid Garage Vac or the Valet ATQ300, yes. VacuMaid also says the bag can go in its DC500 and DC800 dirt canisters. The UV100 utility vacuum does not use it; that one needs a two-opening bag. Confirm against the label on your power unit and how your current bag connects.

When to swap it
VacuMaid's rule of thumb: change or empty the bag when there are three to six inches of dirt in it, or any time you notice weaker airflow at the tool. Brand-new carpet sheds loose fibers that fill a bag faster, sometimes for months. Replace at no more than half full.
Installing
With the unit off, lift the lid straight up, slide the old bag's rubber gasket off the plastic inlet stem and press its tab flap over the hole to seal it. Extend the new bag, seat it, and slide the gasket onto the stem until it settles into the ridge. Close the lid so it seals.
The bag's HEPA-style filtration does not make an entire installed system a sealed HEPA system. Fit questions: (860) 678-0011.
