Three five-layer HEPA-style bags (package reference HPB2HPK) for the VacuMaid SR52, SR52H, SR760 and SR800 power units and every VacuMaid Garage Vac. VacuMaid also lists the Valet ATQ300, and says the bag fits its DC500 and DC800 dirt canisters.

Which bag does my unit take?
Read the model on your power unit, then check how the current bag connects. The UV100 utility vacuum is the exception on VacuMaid's list: it uses a different bag with two openings. VacuMaid also lists HPB-2H as an alternate for several older AstroVac units, and says the HPB1 bag may be used in its place.
Changing it
- Lift the lid straight up; there are no hinges or clamps.
- Slide the rubber gasket on the bag off the plastic inlet stem.
- Peel the backing off the tab and press the flap over the hole to seal the bag, then lift it out.
- Extend the new bag fully, set it in the canister and slide its gasket onto the stem until it drops into the ridge.
- Seat the lid carefully, because a poor seal leaks vacuum.
How full is too full?
VacuMaid says to replace at no more than half full or when suction fades, and never to let the canister pass three-quarters full. Check weekly at first to learn your own pattern. A HEPA-style bag does not make the whole installed system sealed HEPA. Call (860) 678-0011 for a model check.
