The Genuine Miele SG suction hose (12445500) is the factory replacement hose assembly for Guard M1 and Guard L1 upright vacuums. When the original hose cracks, splits, or loses suction from years of bending and flexing, this is the direct OEM replacement that restores full airflow and the original sealed-system performance Miele engineers designed for.
The hose carries everything the brushroll lifts from carpet up into the vacuum body, so a leak anywhere along its length cuts cleaning power and lets fine dust escape back into the room. Swapping in a fresh hose typically takes only a few minutes — no special tools.
