How it manages two surfaces
- Retractable bristles that change with the floor type.
- Metal soleplate for moving over carpet.
- Rubberized rollers and wide thread lifters.
Set the floor selector for the covering you are on. When you move between surfaces, clear grit and wrapped fibers from the rollers, bristles and thread lifters.

Keeping it working
Check the underside every few uses. Hair and thread wind around rollers more than most people expect, and a head that carries them will pick up less. Pull them free with scissors or a seam ripper, lightly, and avoid cutting the bristles.
