Which Miele fits

Turbo, not electric
This is not a powerhead. Air spins the roller, so Miele states there is no separate connection. If your canister has no electric hose, that does not stop you from using it.
What it brings

- An air valve so the head does not stick to the carpet. If it grips too hard, open the valve.

Keeping it spinning
Clear the roller and air path of wrapped hair. Make sure the carpet maker permits brush agitation, particularly on delicate rugs.
Turbo or electric?
For deeper carpet, an electric head such as the Electro Premium has its own motor. The TurboTeQ is the simpler choice for short pile.
Handheld version?
The Turbo Mini is the small cousin for stairs and upholstery.
Day-to-day tips
On short pile the head should glide. If it feels stuck to the carpet, open the air valve; if hair has gathered around the roller, stop and clear it, because a clogged roller stops spinning. Turbo heads work on airflow, so a full dust bag or blocked hose will slow the roller as well as the suction.
