Description

A 6-pack gives a canister owner half a dozen PureAir HEPA bags and two pre-motor filters, which means a clean filter can go in while the washed one dries.

What the bag collar does

Every bag has a plastic collar that slides into a shuttle in the canister. The PureAir Seal helps keep dirt inside the bag between changes. If the bag door will not shut, Kirby's manual says to check that a bag is fitted and that its collar is slid into the shuttle until it clicks.

Made for the Signature Series C530 and C550 canisters and listed by Kirby for those machines only. Part number S10044.

When suction drops

Kirby's troubleshooting table lists a full bag, dirty pre-motor or system filters, a blocked airflow path and an open bag door as the causes of weak suction. Check those first, in that order, before assuming anything is wrong with the motor.

Will it fit an older Kirby?

Not on Kirby's list. These are for the Signature Series C530 and C550 canisters, which both hold a 4.1-liter bag. Check the model name on the machine, or call (860) 678-0011 and we will check it with you.
