Which cordless stick
Duoflex cordless stick vacuums, such as the Duoflex HX1. Triflex owners need the separate Triflex kit.
Two pieces
Flexible suction hose: the PowerUnit stays in your hand while the hose snakes into the space.
Long crevice nozzle: for deep, narrow gaps such as those in a car interior.
Length
Miele states the set extends in combination up to 1.8 to 2.0 m. This is combined reach, not either piece alone.
What it is good at
Miele lists car interiors and areas higher and lower than usual. A single piece is available if you do not need the hose: the HX-CNXL is a 24 inch flexible nozzle.
Replacing a kit
Look for 12557680. Number gone? Send a photo of the parts and connections with your Duoflex model.
Using the kit
Detach the PowerUnit from the wand, plug in the hose, then the nozzle, and reach into the car seat or the top of a bookcase. Keep the PowerUnit supported while you work and make sure connections click firmly before you start.
Keep the hose from kinking while you work, and store the two pieces together so the nozzle is with the hose the next time you need it.
