50100SE is a structural repair part: the body that surrounds the dust-bag compartment on the 300 MECHANICAL and 350 MECHANICAL uprights. You need it when the housing is cracked or broken, not when the bag is full.
One design note from the maker explains why this part is only about structure: on the Mechanical models every electrical component sits in the power head, with none in the bag housing or handle. SEBO also gives the machine a quick-release foot pedal that relieves stress on the handle and bag housing while it stands locked upright.
