SEBO 300 Mechanical Bagged Upright Vacuum – 12-Inch

SEBO calls the Mechanical series commercial-grade, and the engineering explains why. The 300 has no electronic controller at all. Every electrical part sits in the power head, none in the handle or bag housing, which leaves fewer connectors to fail. The on/off switch is on the head, where your foot can reach it, and the power cord attaches on the outside, so a damaged one can be replaced without tools.

Built to be repaired quickly

The brush is a tool-free strip you can pull out, inspect and clean or replace when the bristles wear. A clog-removal door on the head gives access to the airflow path. The cord has strain relief built into the handle. A foot pedal releases the handle when it is locked upright, taking load off the bag housing. SEBO even prints a QR code to a video showing the cord swap.

Who it suits

Carpet-led homes where you would rather turn a height setting than trust electronics, plus anyone who wants a machine with fewer parts to go wrong. Brush height has four manual levels, and you can change them standing upright by pressing the button with the tip of the wand. It is not the pick for delicate hard floors, where a roller you can switch off matters, or for carrying between floors: SEBO lists 19.5 lb and the profile is 6.5 inches.

Bags and filters

The 300 takes 5093AM bags, a large 1.4-gallon bag with a hygiene cap. A window on the bag housing turns orange for a full bag, a clog or a dirty microfilter, and a bypass valve opens to protect the motor. Fine dust can trigger it before the bag looks full. The exhaust filter is S-class, with an optional HEPA microfilter. If the roller jams, an indicator window tells you and the machine shuts off. Single-use bags, unwashed filters, unplug before clearing.

Warranty and business use

The 300 Mechanical needs one step on the paperwork side: register it online with SEBO using our dealer code. Do that for a household purchase and the 300 Mechanical motors are covered for 10 years, its non-wear parts for 10 and labor for 7, instead of the standard 7 and 5. The certificate and your 300 Mechanical receipt are the records to keep. Wear items, routine maintenance and commercial use do not qualify on a 300 Mechanical.

Questions

Can I change suction?

No. Suction is fixed; you adjust only the brush height.

Is the cord replaceable?

Yes. It attaches externally and comes off without tools, according to SEBO.
