SEBO 350 Mechanical Bagged Upright Vacuum – 14-Inch

The 350 is the 300 Mechanical with two more inches of head. The 14-inch head cleans a 12.5-inch path, so you cover more carpet per pass, and the controls stay as plain as ever: manual brush height in four steps, fixed suction, nothing electronic to configure. It weighs 20 lb on SEBO’s listing.

Why it is built the way it is

SEBO describes the Mechanical series as commercial-grade and “entirely mechanical.” The switch is on the head, you work it with your foot, and all the electrical parts are in the head. The power cord attaches externally, with strain relief in the handle, so replacing a worn cord is a hands-only job. The geared belts are reinforced against slipping or stretching.

Home carpet or a business floor?

Homes with open carpet, pet hair on compatible pile and a preference for manual control are the match. Offices and janitorial work suit it too, but the household warranty bonus below does not apply to commercial use, so read it first. Skip the 350 for delicate hard floors, where you want a roller you can switch off. For tighter rooms, the 12-inch 300 is the same design in a narrower head.

Day-to-day care

Reorder 5093AM bags. The 1.4-gallon bag has a hygiene cap, and an orange window on the bag housing signals a full bag, a clog or a dirty microfilter. Go by that window, not the calendar. The brush strip lifts out without tools for cleaning, and a door on the head gives access to clogs. Unplug before you reach in. Filters are replaced, not washed, and bags are used once.

Wand and hose together reach 8 feet; a nine-foot extension hose is optional for stairs. The exhaust filter is S-class, and the table lists HEPA as available.

Warranty

Your 350 Mechanical carries SEBO’s household warranty bonus once you register it under our dealer code: 10 years on motors, 10 years on non-wear parts, 7 years on labor, compared with 7 years on motors and 5 on non-wear parts and labor in SEBO’s standard terms. Put the 350 Mechanical receipt and certificate in the same drawer. Wear items, routine maintenance and commercial use are left out of the 350 Mechanical coverage.

Questions

Can the brush height change while I stand?

Yes. SEBO describes pressing the adjustment button with the wand tip while standing upright.
