The SEBO DUO brush machine works DUO-P granules into carpet with two counter-rotating brushes. It is one part of a dry carpet-cleaning process: apply the powder, work it through the pile, let it dry and remove it with a separate vacuum. There is no suction motor or water-extraction tank in this machine.

What you need to complete the system
- The DUO machine supplies the motorized two-brush action for floor areas.
- DUO-P carpet and upholstery cleaning powder is a separate consumable.
- A suitable separate vacuum is needed to recover powder after drying.
- The Daisy and hand brush are separate accessories for smaller areas or upholstery.

How to use it on carpet
First vacuum away loose debris. Apply DUO-P according to its label, spot-treat persistent marks as directed and guide the machine over the area to work the granules into the pile. The brushes open the pile mechanically; pushing harder is not a substitute for the correct powder application.
SEBO describes typical drying of 30–60 minutes. Wait until the powder is dry under the conditions in your room before vacuuming it away. Restrict use to carpet and fabrics whose care instructions permit this process and test a concealed area first. The machine’s job is agitation; it does not remove the powder as it passes.
The 40-foot cord allows a broad working route, but keep it clear of the brushes. For stair treads, upholstery and tight corners, use the appropriate separate hand tool instead of trying to place the full machine on a small surface.
Brushes, powder and storage
The standard replacement brush is 3005ER, sold individually; the softer brush option is 3005W. Match bristle choice to the carpet care requirements. The 0472AM powder refill contains five 1.1-pound bags; powder coverage depends on the job and label directions.
Unplug before removing debris from the brushes. Check for hair and thread around the rotating parts, clean the machine as directed and store it dry. Reseal partly used DUO-P bags so the granules retain the moisture needed for cleaning.
Warranty and service
SEBO’s standard US limited warranty for ordinary household use provides 7 years on motors and 5 years on non-wear parts and labor. Keep the receipt and have warranty work performed by SEBO or an authorized dealer. Commercial use, wear items and routine maintenance are excluded. This listing does not promise the extended Medalist coverage offered on eligible complete vacuums.
