HPB1PK is a three-pack of three-layer nonwoven bags with a microliner, made for the older VacuMaid and AstroVac paper-bag power units, including the VacuMaid SR36.
Models VacuMaid lists for HPB1
H1P, P70, SR36, SR36C, SR38, P80, H2, P73, P75, MK1P, MKXXIIIBP, the HV101 Hairvac, the Valet AT100 and AT120, and the DC500 and DC800 dirt canisters. Match your unit's label to that list, and look at how your current bag connects. The SR36 and SR38 are the ones we carry as power units.

Swapping it
- Switch the unit off.
- Take the lid straight off and slide the bag's rubber gasket from the plastic inlet stem.
- Seal the filled bag by peeling the backing from its tab and pressing the flap over the hole, then dispose of it.
- Open the new bag fully, put it in the canister and slide the gasket onto the stem until it seats in the ridge.
- Set the lid back carefully; a loose lid leaks vacuum and weakens cleaning.
HPB1 or HPB2H?
VacuMaid offers the HPB2H HEPA-style bag where extra filtration is wanted. These bags are disposable; replace a bag at no more than half full or when suction fades, and do not wash or reuse it. A bag does not turn a whole installed system into a sealed HEPA system. For a match check, call (860) 678-0011.
