These two sizes look similar on a parts list and are not interchangeable. Match Miele reference 12785390, the filter format and your model.
Change schedule
One filter per box, replaced once a year per Miele. If you want next year's already on the shelf, the SF-HA 50 2-pack is the same filter type with a spare.
Fitting
Check the filter position in your manual, keep other filters fitted as the model requires, and follow the manual rather than assuming it can be washed. If odors are the concern, the charcoal SF-AA 50 is the alternative.
