The annual cartridge for the mid-size Pros
The AP60 Pro and AP80 Pro clean bigger rooms, so their cartridge is a bigger piece of equipment: part AC1010, a 360 degree drum that wraps a fine prefilter, a HEPA layer and activated carbon around the machine's whole intake. One swap a year, roughly, and the purifier goes back to earning its corner of the room. Filters are the entire working substance of an air purifier; the rest of the machine is just a fan with good manners.

Why we like it
- Layered by purpose. Prefilter for the visible stuff, HEPA for the fine particles, carbon for odors, all in one replaceable drum.
- Matched to the machine. Sized for the airflow the AP60 and AP80 Pro actually move, which a smaller cartridge could not keep up with.

- You own an AP30/40 Pro or the AP140 Pro. Those take the AC1011 and AC1012 respectively; the sizes do not interchange

Is the AC1010 the right part for my machine?
If the label says AP60 PRO or AP80 PRO, yes. The AP30/40 Pro takes the AC1011 and the AP140 Pro takes the AC1012, so check the model before ordering.
What shortens the 12 month interval?
Heavy use and dirty air: renovation, nearby wildfires, wood stoves, a crowd of pets. The machine's indicator reflects actual load better than the calendar does.
Why one combined cartridge instead of separate filters?
Fewer parts to track and no partially spent layers hiding inside the machine. When the drum is done, everything is renewed at once.
