The Boost CX1 Cat & Dog (material no. 11735550) pairs a small one-liter bagless body with the STB 305-3 TurboTeQ, a brush spun by airflow that pulls fur and lint out of low rugs, and a HEPA AirClean exhaust filter. It is sized for apartments, condos and smaller houses with pets on hard floors and a few rugs.

What the turbo brush will and will not do

The TurboTeQ has no motor; suction airflow turns it. That is gentle and simple, but it is not a deep-carpet tool, and there is no electric head in this package. Check the rug maker's care guidance before brushing. If carpet is the main job or you want a bigger bin, the Blizzard CX1 Cat & Dog brings a motorized head. A small bin and pets: how often to empty

A pet household fills one liter quickly, so expect to empty it often. The bin lifts out and opens through a flap in the bottom. Do it before the MAX mark, pick out any hair wound around the container, and press the assembly back until it seats.

Two filter types follow different rules:

• Fine-dust filter and mat. Washable. Miele's instruction is cold water monthly, at least 24 hours of drying, no scrubbing the pleats with anything sharp, and nothing damp goes back in.
• HEPA exhaust cartridge. Not washable. Change it with the Boost-specific SF-HA 60 when the TimeStrip indicator calls for it, normally about once a year.

Always unplug before freeing a blocked hose or cutting hair off a roller.

Reordering and carrying

There are no bags to buy; the SF-HA 60 is the supply to plan around. Rest the body on a stable surface when you reach the stairs, use the hose with a small tool, and never pull it up by the hose. The listed 18 lb excludes the hose, wand and floorheads, so lift the full set before buying if you have several flights.

Warranty

Miele's current US household limited warranty lists 3 years for this model, subject to its terms. Keep your receipt; normal wear and routine maintenance are excluded, and commercial use is covered differently.
