What is included

• Complete upright with its fitted carpet-cleaning head and brush assembly.
• Integrated suction hose and instant-use cleaning wand.
• Three onboard detail tools: crevice nozzle, dusting brush and upholstery nozzle.
• The filter bag, pre-motor microfilter and exhaust filter required for operation.

An extension hose and other specialty tools are optional. This floorhead remains part of the upright; the machine does not detach into a portable canister.

Using the height system and tools

The height system monitors brush resistance and raises or lowers the nozzle as you clean. It compensates for changes in carpet and brush wear. Its selectable brush-aggression setting increases brush contact for suitable carpet; it is not a separate suction-speed control.

Use the hose and wand for edges, furniture and confined spaces rather than lifting the full floorhead onto them. Check your carpet and floor maker’s care requirements before using a rotating brush, particularly on delicate woven rugs, loose fringe and sensitive finishes. This configuration does not offer the separately switched brush motor of an ET-1 package.

A rotating cord hook releases the fixed cord for cleaning; rewind it onto the hooks for storage. Use the integrated carrying handle on stairs and allow for the full upright body weight.

Filtration and replacement supplies

The standard package uses S-class filtration with SEBO 5093AM bags, the 5036AM pre-motor microfilter and 5143 exhaust filter. A separate HEPA configuration is available for this family; it is not the supplied standard S-class arrangement.

Close the bag’s hygiene cap before removing it, and fit the replacement securely in its holder. Bags are single-use. Do not wash the filters. The manual calls for the pre-motor and exhaust filters to be replaced after approximately 20 bags, or earlier when heavily soiled.

The roller removes without tools for hair and thread cleanup. Bag/clog warnings and obstruction shutoff identify conditions that need attention; stop, unplug and check the bag, filters, hose and brush rather than continuing to push against a jam.

Drive-belt coverage

SEBO’s US warranty includes lifetime coverage for AUTOMATIC X drive belts and the authorized labor needed to replace them. Other wear items and maintenance remain subject to the normal warranty exclusions.

Warranty and service

Register an eligible new Avon Vacuums purchase with SEBO using our dealer code and store details to obtain the warranty bonus: 10 years on motors, 10 years on non-wear parts and 7 years of labor. Keep the registration certificate and purchase receipt. Before the eligible bonus, the standard factory coverage is 7 years on motors and 5 years on non-wear parts and labor.

These terms cover ordinary household use in the United States and require authorized service. Commercial use, wear items and routine maintenance are excluded. The bonus is for eligible complete vacuums; a separately purchased powerhead has different coverage.
