A center-hall colonial is a house everyone already understands, with no surprises behind the walls, and the Titan T3200 is that kind of bagged upright. A 12-amp motor, a 12-inch cleaning path, a 30-foot cord, manual height adjustment, a wood brushroll and a headlight, with HEPA filtration and a stretch hose, aluminum telescopic wand and onboard tools for edges and stairs. It weighs 16 pounds, which is honest weight for a machine with a metal wand and a real motor. If you liked the upright you grew up with, this is that upright, built to be repaired.

Why we like it
- Manual height adjustment means the brush sits where you set it, and that setting does not change when the carpet does.
- The 30-foot cord covers most of a floor from one outlet, which on a 12-amp machine is a real convenience.

Think twice if
- Your house is mostly hardwood and tile. A canister like the T1400 or T9400 will be easier to live with than any upright.
- You carry the vacuum up and down stairs daily. Sixteen pounds is fine for a flight a week; the T500 at 11 pounds is better for a flight a day.
- You want a removable pod for stairs. The T3600 is the Titan upright built around that.

How does the height adjustment work?
It is manual. You set the brushroll height for the carpet or floor you are on, and it stays there. For most homes that means one setting for carpet and one for rugs.
What is included for above-floor cleaning?
A stretch hose, an aluminum telescopic wand and onboard tools. Stairs, baseboards and the top of the fridge are all reachable without a second machine.
How long is the cord?
Thirty feet. On a typical floor plan you plug in once per floor.
Does it have HEPA filtration and a bag?
Yes to both. It is a bagged upright with HEPA filtration, and we keep the bags and filters in stock.
