Metal goes where plastic usually does on the Titan T4000.2: the brushroll, the bottom plate, the handle and the pivot point. It is the copper-pipe approach to a vacuum, heavier and a little more expensive than the flexible stuff, and still in service thirty years on. Behind that hardware is a 12-amp motor, a 14-inch cleaning path, a 30-foot cord, HEPA filtration, a carpet and floor selector, a headlight, a full-bag indicator, onboard tools and a full wrap bumper. At 18 pounds it is a machine you push, not one you carry.

- Your floors are mostly hardwood. A canister with a powered nozzle, like the T9400, will be lighter and gentler on the finish.
- You run it in a commercial setting with a long route. The TC6000.2 adds a 40-foot cord, a thermal reset and a riveted bumper for that job.

A factory-sealed, unused machine can be returned within 30 days with return shipping paid by the buyer; once opened, a problem is a manufacturer warranty matter we handle together.

Which parts are metal?
The brushroll, bottom plate, handle and pivot point. These are the parts that take the beating on an upright, which is why they are metal here.
Can it clean hard floors?
Yes. The carpet and floor selector changes the machine for bare floors so the brush does not throw grit around. It is a carpet machine first, but it behaves on tile.
How wide is the cleaning path?
Fourteen inches, which is wide for a household upright and makes a difference in big rooms.
Does it tell me when the bag is full?
Yes, there is a full-bag indicator. Change the bag when it shows rather than when suction drops; the motor is happier.
