Upright, pod and tool controls

Use the power button to run suction and the separate brush button to control agitation. Stop the brush for appropriate bare-floor work; use rotating brushing only where the floor or rug maker allows it. Swivel steering changes the direction of the floorhead around furniture, and the LED headlight shows the cleaning path.

Release the wand or handle for tool cleaning. To carry the pod separately, switch off and use the Takeoff release as shown in the manual, after freeing the cord from its storage hooks. The detachable pod keeps the main floor nozzle out of the way on stairs, but the power cord remains connected to an outlet.

The turbo pet tool spins with airflow; it is not a second electrically powered floorhead. Use it on brush-safe upholstery and stair treads, and the plain upholstery nozzle where rotating brushing is unsuitable. Adjust the suction relief when a tool grips fabric too strongly.

Bag release and warning indicators

The bag-fill indicator can also respond to a blocked hose or loaded filter. Switch off and unplug before opening the bag compartment. Hold the pod above the waste bin and use the bag release so the bag drops away; fit a new bag securely before closing the cover. The manual’s bag reference is 17-2412-09, corresponding to the 3600-H retail format.

A brushroll-status warning calls for checking the nozzle for a jam. The self-cleaning roller design reduces routine wrapping, but hair and thread still need inspection. Clear the obstruction with power disconnected rather than repeatedly restarting a stalled brush.

Correct filter washing and replacement

The 3600-F kit corresponds to manual kit 17-2328-02: foam filter 561060125 and HEPA media exhaust filter 561055118. The exact manual permits washing these components. Wash the foam filter as directed, rinse fully and air-dry for at least 24 hours; never install it damp.

For the HEPA exhaust filter, the manual specifies a cold-water clean around yearly use and complete drying before refitting. Replace a damaged filter or one whose cleaning no longer restores airflow. This washable guidance is specific to T3600 and should not be applied to Titan’s replacement-only upright filters.

Warranty and service

The Titan manual lists a 2-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for household use. Use outside a private household reduces coverage to 90 days. Normal wear, maintenance and consumable replacements are excluded. Keep the sales receipt and model/serial details; warranty repairs follow the manufacturer’s authorized-service requirements.
