Anyone on well water knows the routine: the filter cartridge gets changed on a schedule and otherwise forgotten. The Titan TCS5525 runs on the same principle. It is a filtered cyclonic central vacuum power unit with a replaceable HEPA filter, a 6-gallon dirt capacity, 525 air watts, 124 inches of water lift, an onboard inlet valve with a comfort grip, and a 5,000-square-foot rating. There are no bags; cyclonic action drops the debris into the 6-gallon canister and the HEPA cartridge catches the fine dust. Voltage and amperage are not in the product table, so we confirm the circuit with you.

- You want sealed disposable bags for allergy reasons. This unit is bagless by design; the TCS7702 and TCS9902 run bags.
- Your house is over 5,000 square feet or the pipe run is long. The TCS8575 is the same filtered cyclonic design with 141 inches of water lift and an 8,000-square-foot rating.
- You need the strongest pull for a difficult pipe route. At 525 air watts this is the gentlest unit in the group; look at the TCS9902 or TCS7702.

How often does the filter need replacing?
It depends on the house and the pets. Inspect it each time you empty the canister and replace it when it is visibly loaded; we keep the cartridge in stock.
What is the onboard inlet valve for?
It is a hose port on the unit itself. Plug a hose in there to clean the basement or the garage without walking to a wall inlet.
