A parquet brush for the wood and a turbobrush for the rugs, on the basic C1
The Turbo Team takes the Classic C1 body and swaps the combination floorhead for two specialists: the SBB 300-3 Parquet Twister, a soft-bristle brush for hardwood and tile, and the STB 305-3 turbobrush, an air-driven brush roll for low-to-medium pile rugs. The upholstery nozzle, dust brush and crevice nozzle are still in the box, and it runs on the 4.8-quart HyClean GN bag with a 29-foot radius. A parquet brush on a hardwood floor is a wooden spoon in a nonstick pan: it is there to protect the surface, and once you have used one you wince watching anyone use anything else.

Why we like it
- The SBB 300-3 Parquet Twister swivels to get around chair legs and under the lip of cabinets, and its bristles are the reason refinished floors stay looking refinished.
- The STB 305-3 turbobrush brushes rugs with a roller that spins on suction air, so pet hair and tracked-in grit come out of the pile instead of being pressed into it.
- A 4.8-quart GN bag with change indicator and automatic positioning, on Miele's most common bag format, and a bagged design that treats each new bag as a new filter.
- Rotary suction control and a 1200-watt PowerLine motor, the same drivetrain as the rest of the Classic C1 line.
Think twice if
- You have wall-to-wall carpet or a big shedding dog. The air-driven brush is a rug tool; the Classic C1 Cat & Dog has the motor-driven SEB 228 electrobrush for real carpet.
- Your floors are almost all hard surface and rugs are rare. The Classic C1 Pure Suction skips both brushes and the SBD 365-3 covers what little carpet you have.
- You would like the same two tools without bags. The Blizzard CX1 Turbo Team is the bagless canister with the identical SBB 300-3 and STB 305-3 pair.

Because Avon Vacuums is an authorized Miele dealer, the Classic C1 Turbo Team carries Miele's manufacturer warranty for new U.S. machines; register it with Miele when you unpack it and keep the receipt with the manual. The order ships free to the contiguous United States (it is over our $75 free-shipping line) and most orders are out the door in 2 to 3 business days. We accept returns within 30 days on factory-sealed, unused machines, with return shipping paid by the buyer. Once a machine has been used, a fault is a Miele warranty claim and we handle the back-and-forth with Miele.
Questions customers ask us
Is the STB 305-3 a motorized powerhead?
No. It spins on airflow from the canister. That makes it light and simple and fine for rugs and runners, and not the right tool for deep or wall-to-wall carpet.
Why would I want a parquet brush if the SBD 365-3 also does hard floors?
The SBB 300-3 is gentler on finishes, swivels more freely, and its bristles reach into the gaps between boards. If you have hardwood you paid to have refinished, you want the parquet brush.
What bag does it take?
The Miele HyClean GN FilterBag, 4.8 quarts. Same bag as every other Classic C1.
How far can I reach from the outlet?
Miele lists a 29-foot operating radius on an 18-foot cord. If your house is long and outlets are few, the Guard line's 36 feet is worth a look.
